GMT-70
is made around a vintage-inspired M7 capsule polarized in omnidirectional direction.
the capsule becomes insensitive to proximity and softens, it responds in frequency with an expanded bass and an treble without harshness
GMT-77
is made around a vintage-inspired M7 capsule polarized in cardioid direction
the capsule becomes more colorful and warm.
the capsule and the electronics are mounted on suspension in order to avoid any structural vibration and microphony
the body is machined in aluminum + brass to be easily perched in height.
The microphones are equipped with the highest electronic quality with Lundahl transformers guaranteeing you the best sound result for your recordings.

A birdcage
the body is a birdcage which avoids harmful internal reflections as much as possible
the perfect hexagonal honeycomb mesh to guarantee the integrity of the structure and the solidity of the microphone.
The body is made of a mix of brass and aluminum, the body perfectly controls the microphony and mechanical resonance.
ELECTRONICS
The new GMT-70 & 77 is built around vintage military stock NOS triode tube electronics , a magnificent Jensen capacitor
and a high quality Lundahl output transformer.
Each element and diagram has been extensively studied and tested to improve the gain, the signal-to-noise ratio,
the frequency response.

The GMT-7X cardioid and omni are equipped with an M7 capsule in PVC clone of the famous vintage capsule used in the 50s and 60s.

the microphones are equipped with the toshiba transistor amplifier electronics and the lundahl 1538 transformer
